Prepare the garden load
- Clean and dry tools, covering sharp points securely.
- Empty or prepare machinery according to the manufacturer's instructions and the mover's restrictions.
- Check arrangements for fuel, pesticides, gas cylinders and other products before collection.
- Separate pots that are cracked or too heavy for ordinary handling.
Keep plants stable and protect delicate growth without overheating or crushing them. Consider the journey length, weather and the needs of the species. Ask a suitable horticultural source about unusual or sensitive plants rather than relying on a general packing rule.
Confirm which planted items belong to the property or are agreed to remain before removing them. At the new home, give plants a safe temporary position and keep tools away from children and pets. Reassemble outdoor equipment using its instructions, checking the ground and fixings before use.
